President Bob Losi announced his resignation from the position of Local 301 President effective July 14, 2007.  President Losi will be taking a position with the NPMHU National Office in Washington, DC.

To:  All Members of Local 301's Executive Board and Council

On May 10, 2007, I notified the Local 301 Council that I will be resigning as Local 301 President effective July 14, 2007 to accept a position at the NPMHU Headquarters in Washington, DC.

In accordance with our Local 301 By-laws, specifically By-0Law # 16, as amended by the Local 301 Council on March 31, 2003:

"In the event of the vacancy of a full-time Officer, the Council will fill said vacancy by a simple majority vote.  Council members may submit names to the Recording Secretary for filling of said vacancy.  Not less than five (5) business days subsequent to said notification, the Recording Secretary will submit a list of names received, in alphabetical order, to each Council member."

Council Members should submit names in writing or by fax to Recording Secretary Bob Broxton, no later than May 22, 2007.
