Family and Medical Leave Act 28 February 2005

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides certain employees with up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave per year. It also requires that your group health benefits be maintained during the leave. You may qualify for FMLA leave if you need time off from work for the birth or adoption of a child, to care for a family member, or if the you yourself have serious health condition. We receive reports of abuses on a daily basis.
